Our Past Events Seminar
This will be our third "Producing and Selling Music" seminar held at the North Campus of the University at Buffalo. The first two, which were in February 2009 and April 2010, each drew approximately 200 participants who came from all parts of the Western New York Music Community. Our past speakers included:
Dale Anderson: Buffalo News rock critic, Hot Wings record label executive, and Ani DiFranco's first manager.
Andy Karp: Former Executive Vice President of A&R for Atlantic Records.
Mark Morette: Owner of Mark Custom Recording and Mark Studios in Clarence, New York.
Armand John Petri: Producer of 10,000 Maniacs, the Goo Goo Dolls, Sixpence None the Richer, and more.
Alison Pipitone: Independent Recording Artist.
Casey Rae-Hunter: Communications Director for The Future of Music Coalition.
Stuart B. Shapiro: Entertainment Attorney, Author, Mentor, Songwriter, and Performer.
